The state’s bloody war against illegal drugs has claimed another victim.
Former Saudi OFW and cancer-slain patient Allen Rafael has fallen prey to the ruthless and anti-poor “war on drugs” of the fascist US-Duterte regime. Rafael was illegally arrested by policemen in Recto and was coerced to withdraw money before being taken into incarceration and severely tortured that eventually led to his untimely death.
The brutal act of fascist despot Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs is a testament that no one is spared from the bloodshed including those stricken with deleterious health conditions and other inexorable circumstances. Duterte is taking the lives of Filipinos aspiring for a better future for their families and loved ones, by dragging them and the entire nation into a killing field.
Duterte is a cold-blooded murderer obsessed in killing the defenseless poor and the marginalized. He is hell-bent on punishing the ordinary Filipino but excludes policemen who are proactively involved in these atrocious crimes. Last year, hundreds of innocent youth including Kian delos Santos and Carl Arnaiz became casualties of Oplan Tokhang. But instead of punishing the policemen who were involved in their merciless murder, they were merely relocated and worse, promoted.
The College Editors Guild of the Philippines calls on the Filipino youth and people to demand justice for Allan Rafael and all victims of grave abuses by the fascist US-Duterte regime. As long as madman Duterte and his government believe that killing is the only solution to the ills of the society, the Filipino people will unite and resist to overthrow the number one serial killer in the country.
